What happened to May??

...and now its June!

I have a couple of weeks worth of catching up, so here goes.

Friday 7 June 2013

This morning I was in the city early as there was supposed to be a great sunrise unfortunately this did not happen due to cloud and drizzle.
I have put a time lapse video for you to look at, still not that great but working on it.

Also a photo from Westhaven Marina just as the sun started to peak over the horizon.

After work tonight I went to Curran Street, you go under the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the City side to get there. It was a great night for taking some photos.

The following two photos are looking towards the West

The following two photos are of the Auckland Harbour Bridge

Below two more photos of the Sky Tower

On the way home I stopped off at the Silo as I saw the following in Silo 7, by Jennifer Mason.
She alters and transforms photographs of interiors into new spaces that contain odd spatial transplants that manipulate the appearance for scale and perspective. Light, material, space, line and shadow are paramount in her work.

Saturday 1 June 2013

Today I started a new project, I bet you cannot guess what it will be?
I'm not telling so you will all have to wait patiently.

Monday 27 May 2013

As I was having my lunch in the sun at the Viaduct today, I noticed this guy up the top of the Vodafone Catamaran as they were preparing for the Auckland to Fiji Ocean Race

Sunday 26 May 2013

Today we went for a drive to get out and about as the guttering was being replaced on the house.
Firstly we went up Mt Eden it was bitterly cold as the southerly was blowing through.

We then went for a walk along Ponsonby Road where my cousin has a shop called Bioattic
(62 Ponsonby Road, Auckland), if you're looking for Terrariums, Bonsai Trees and Botanic Skincare this is the place to go. He grows the bonsai himself and they are amazing.

From here we walked down Williamson Avenue to check out some Artwork painted on hoardings.
