Mid April

Aren't you all so lucky.
There have been so many posts lately and I feel I am now up to date..........Yay.
I wonder will it stay that way!?!

I have a Pitcher Plant and currently this a new Pitcher which is on it, isn't it stunning.

My Dad gave me a 'Snail Vine' this time last year, and it has just flowered the scent is incredible and the flowers unique, they are shaped like a Snail Shell.

Crappy day today, not sure what was going on.
The weather was beautiful and we were heading into a long weekend.
Soo...I went over to Karanga Plaza where they had a 'Mood Bank', who would have thought.

Lunar Eclipse

Sooooo, I stayed up all night to see this, and what a beautiful clear night it was.
Although the red of the Moon only lasted a few moments it was beautiful.
These photos were taken with just my normal camera, imagine if I had something high tech.

March Wrap Up

Oh my Goodness aren't the weeks just flying by??!!!

This will be a fairly short wrap up as you would have seen the Volvo Ocean Race Post (see below if you haven't!) and that took in a couple of weeks.

Friday 20th March 2015
The Queen Mary 2 Cruise ship is in port, but they have berthed down at Jellicoe Wharf and you cannot go in to see it. But here you can see the top of it from across the road.



The boat below is VvS1 which belongs to Michael Hill

A different view, this was taken out the back of the Maritime Museum, looking towards the Hilton Hotel and Local Restaurants.

The Queen Victoria is in port as well at the moment, this is the first time in in 40 years that the Queen Mary and the Queen Victoria have been in port at the same time.
The Queen Victoria is huge you can see it in relation to 'The Cloud'
