So do you remember that Monarch Caterpillar way back on the 9th January, well looky, looky we have Chrysalis.
In fact this plant had 5 of them!
Today I went to Kings College to train the Medical Staff.
What an amazing school, in fact some of the school reminds me of Hogwart's School from Harry Potter. (Especially the cafeteria which unfortunately I could not get a photo of)

So..a few years back Malcolm decided to take the dents and dings out of the caravan and we had never got around to painting the caravan....well today I started on this process.
It took me all freakin day on what must have been the hottest day ever to mask it up.
But...finally it was done and then I spray painted it, and below is the result.
Not to shabby even if I say so myself!

Today the Yacht Transporter was back in port, you can make out a super yacht which has just been loaded on.
The back of this transporter lowers into the water and the boats just drive on, the back of the transporter raises up and then the boats are secured on the deck.
I saw this trimaran coming in from my office window, it was huge.
So at lunch time I investigated, it was the Samara out of George Town
Below was the Hauraki Blue Cruises boat coming in, this is also a huge boat

The boat below was built by McMullen and Wing and moved to the Viaduct Harbour for outfitting.
As of now this 50metre $60m Explorer Yacht's name is under wraps as is the owner.
This boat is built for Ocean Cruising and Polar Expeditions and possibly heading to the Arctic Ocean.

| I saw this being craned into place from my office window. |

The Maritime Museum at the Viaduct had an exhibition on called 'At the Beach'. 100 years of summer fashion in NZ celebrates changing beach fashions and fun since the early 1900s.
With woollen bathers and bikinis, swimsuits and sundresses, play suits and parasoles, towelling hats and cover-ups, Hawaiian shirts and more the exhibition features fashions from the early 1900s to the current day.
This exhibition features only NZ made or designed garments.
So follow the jandals and we will be on our way....
First up the Beach Store...
or a bit of gossip
Good old Formica tables..
A well stocked pantry.
Next up the Bach
Relaxing, catching some sun and waiting for the next big wave.
Or maybe just take the boat out for a spot of water skiing
You could catch the ferry to Devonport, or other Islands in the Gulf
Swimsuits Galore..
All sorts of shapes, styles and eras.
These beautiful stain glass windows were also at the Maritime Museum

To celebrate 75 years of Air New Zealand, they had the front end of a plane at the Viaduct Harbour, you could go inside and have a play with the controls.
