Haier's Big Hoot, is Auckland's biggest ever, mass participation, public art trail.
Throughout Auckland; North, South, East and West are 48 giant owls (1.65m tall), designed and painted by local and international artists.
There are also 57 owlets (90cm tall), designed and painted by school children, these are in malls and public libraries.
AND...
of course we went hunting and found them all, collecting rewards along the way.
These Owls will be auctioned later on in May to raise funds for the Child Cancer Foundation
