Whittakers Big Egg Hunt

Once again the Whittakers Big Egg Hunt has been on, this was to raise funds for the Children's Starship Hospital and once again I have spent hours and walked many kilometres to find these Giant Eggs.
There were 100 eggs in all, these were in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. There were 55 eggs in Auckland.
There was also one roaming egg, Where's Wally, which travelled around the country to various locations, and as you can see by the last photo I found him. (Which I didn't manage to do last year)
I did get photos of all 55 eggs, but because some were in shop windows or buildings that weren't even open for you to view them properly, I have had to download a picture from the website.(There were 6 of these)

The Answer is ..............

NO...I didn't keep this up to date.
Sigh...
So a wrap up for April I didn't get up to much in the latter part of April. Work has been so busy..
(I know all work and no play..)
So what do I have to share I here you ask.

Saturday 25th April 2015
Today is ANZAC Day it is the 100th Anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli

Friday 24th April 2015
I took a couple of random photos of the Sky Tower while the bus was stopped at the lights. (I know I haven't gotten out much lately)

Thursday 23rd April 2015
I stayed in town a bit later tonight to see the ANZAC Poppy projected on to the Sky Tower.

In fact there were poppies all over the city

Federal Street is now a shared Road/Walkway and is quite amazing compared to how it used to be.

Tuesday 21st April 2015
Read here about the saga of Johnny Wray and the Ngataki
Ngataki a 63 year old boat held together with fencing wire and pyjamas....

The other funky boat in these photos is the 'Azzum' a Trimaran and all yours for only $670,000. To see more photos click here
Quite an amazing little boat.
