Work has been sooo busy, and the weeks (and weekends) have zipped by, its now 2 weeks since the last post.
So what's been happening...
Sunday 19th May 2013
I have been playing around with a bit of time lapse photography. You'll see a few different clips coming up as I try to perfect this.

I put down a batch of Vin d'orange 5 weeks ago, today was the day to bottle. Now this one looks much darker than the last batches, because....I used Merlot instead of Rosé..DUH
Out the back door today, was a friendly Tui and a rainbow.
Tonight I made Persimmon Tart, with Vanilla Ice Cream and a home made Caramel Sauce for dessert. YUMMY
Thursday 16th May 2013
Another early start to watch the sunrise at Westhaven Marina, another beautiful morning.
A little crab even wandered by.
Wednesday 15th May 2013
On the way to work this morning I ducked down to Westhaven Marina and got this early morning shot.
I also decided to stay late in the city tonight as the sunsets had been building up to something spectacular and took the risk tonight would be the night, and I was not wrong.

Today I was up bright and early and went to Cornwall Park and One Tree Hill to watch the sun rise, before heading off to work.
It was beautiful and clear when I left home but very foggy at the park.

Today Michelle and I went out for lunch to
on Ponsonby Road, the weather was great and it was even warm enough to sit in the courtyard.
I also received a beautiful bunch of flowers.
To finish off the day, a magnificent sunset (pity about the power lines tho)
Saturday 11th May 2013
We were watching the rugby league game tonight (sigh..another loss) which was on in Wellington and who should we see in the crowd!
BRENT! (My brother)
What on earth was he doing, it looks like the woman in front was wondering the same thing! LOL
Wednesday 8th May 2013
Today the Pacific Pearl was in port (because I know you were missing seeing all those Cruise Ships!)
Tuesday 7th May 2013
Another beautiful day in the City, the Spirit of New Zealand Sailing Ship was in, another group of school children ready to go on an adventure.
The Spirit of New Zealand is manned by young people who are sent on board to develop "qualities of leadership, independence and community spirit through the medium of the sea". The ship is a "three-masted barquentine" and was commissioned in 1986. It carries 14 crew and 40 trainees. The Spirit of Adventure Trust say that she is "believed to be probably the world's busiest youth ship" and is expected to be able to continue operating youth voyages until around 2035.
