Sunday 28th December 2014
Today I went to my Dad's in Maungaturoto, and its a stinking hot day. We went for a drive down to the cow sheds, the last of the calves were trying to keep cool in the shade.
Below is one of the old sheds, looks quite neat with the shadows.
Below are the Hydrangeas in Dads garden.
Below are photos of the Pohutukawa and the dam.
... a random wildflower
On the way home I stopped at the Kaipara look out, if you look closely enough you can see rain in the distance.

The Pohutukawa are stunning at the moment, however the wildflowers have finished, there were only a few wild Sweet Peas and the odd flower here and there.

I was very slow on my Christmas Cards this year, but I did make the following one.
I also made the Yeti Ornaments below to hang on my Christmas Tree.
...and below are Merry Monsters eating Candy Canes, these were also to hang on the tree.
I machine embroidered the ballerina below onto a T-Shirt for Nikita.
I made a few more Lavender Sachets as gifts.
I embroidered this Swallow onto a Shirt for Michelle.
I made the following Lace Lanterns for Christmas Stocking Stuffers.
