I booked myself in to go to the Unlocked Collections. These are private collections held by large corporations.
A very busy week indeed, most of these were after work and as I work in the city all these collections were only ever about 10 minutes walking distance from my office.
Unfortunately you cannot take photos at most of these places, so there are not many I can show you of the Art Work

Westpac Collection
This was a very special collection, as we were lucky to see the Artist in person and listen to him speak. His name is Max Patte and oddly enough I had heard about him the week before..OMG what amazing work he does. This was his first exhibition and it was brilliant. He has done a lot of work for Weta Workshops and sculptures for Michael Hill and his golf course The Hills.
You can check out some other pictures through this website.

However there were other things happening around town on this beautiful day
Another photo from our great City.
Samsung had a 'Home Smart Home', it has separate pods which you can move around to change the design of your house. It was also showing all the latest and greatest new Samsung products
.
Also down at Wynyard Quarter were the finalists in the 'Photographer of the Year' Competition.

All I can say is, if you are into a bit of Art, you should book yourselves on a tour for ArtWeek 2015
