Road Trip

So Mum and I went on a Road Trip. We were heading to Wellington to the Military Tattoo, but took a week to get there and back stopping at some amazing places.

Tirau: is a busy little town, famously dubbed the 'Corrugated Capital of the World' check out the photos below and see a small selection of why.

Turangi: is a small town on the west bank of the Tongariro River, 50 kilometres south-west of Taupo on the North Island Volcanic Plateau

Waiouru: is a small town in the Ruapehu District. It is located on the south-eastern North Island Volcanic Plateau,and is also home to the National Army Museum.

Wanganui: also spelt Whanganui, is a city on the west coast of the North Island. The Wanganui River, New Zealand's longest navigable waterway, runs from Mount Tongariro to the sea
