Yesterday, I won tickets to The Actors Benevolent Fund Afternoon Gala at the Pop Up Globe. Unfortunately the tickets were for standing in the 'Groundlings' area, standing for a few hours was not going to happen.
I mentioned to one of the ushers that we would not be able to stand for that long and she managed to get us seats in the top level. (The most expensive, but no charge to us)

Today is ANZAC day and a public holiday.
We went for a drive in to the city just as these planes were flying over in formation.
We then thought we should head over and have a beer to remember those who fought in the war.
We ended up at Brothers Barrel Room in Orakei. Newly opened with other numerous shops..
