This month is Estrella Damm Chef's Choice, where the city's most talented chefs are creating their own unique dish starring the iconic Spanish ham Jamon, paired with an Estrella Damm Beer.
Tonight we went to Bodrum in New Lynn for Pizza with Jamon ham and a beer
Followed by Turkish Coffee and Turkish Delight

Malcolm has spent the past few months working on a wooden Dolls House for Nikita, and now it is finally finished in time for her birthday today.
Once completely opened up it is almost 2 metres long.
Everything in this house is handmade.
Front side of the house, yes everything on the outside of the front and back is hand made.
Back side of the house
The house opens up to reveal all the furniture, with the side fences folded in, these fold out to reveal garden seats, lights and flowers
The embroidered wall hanging I made to go above the fireplace
The fireplace with wooden surround, a firescreen, with real miniature logs and a clock on the mantel
A wooden lounge suite which I then upholstered
The living room with a small side table and lamp, a grandfather clock on the wall, handmade curtains and rug on the floor.
It is difficult to see in the above picture but there is a cat on the windowsill
The Armoire
Inside the Armoire
The first side gate, with fruit trees, on the front of the fence is a garden spade and fork, and ivy growing on the gate (which opens) and a pot plant
Notice the hand made wooden tiles on the roof
Birthday Party day, we had a small get together for Nikita's birthday as it was easier for her to open her present at ours.
The house gift wrapped, it doesn't look so big now.
The cake (not made by me)
Blowing out the candles
The rainbow cake
The house was a hit and full of dolls already
