..another week down!
10 February 2013
So..I hear you ask, as she done any more on the Quilted Wall Hanging like she said she would?...Well yes I have!
The top is complete now.
it has been pinned to the batting and backing and is ready for quilting...watch this space.
What else.. the frangipani flowers are out and the scent is amazing, every year this tree gets better and better .
Everyday the Godwits fly over in formation when they go from the West Coast to the East Coast and vice versa depending on the tides. Yesterday must have been a bit windy for them as they were flying extremely low and out of formation
Only a few more weeks before they start their migratory flight to Asia to escape our winter.

4 February 2013
What an awful day weather wise, very windy and rainy. I know we need the rain but it feels quite wintry today.
A couple of cruise ships in today, the Carnival Spirit now this did look like a fun ship, you could see the water slides quite clearly at the top of the ship.

| Ship leaving Princes Wharf |
Also in was a much (much) smaller ship, the Oceanic Discoverer, this ship takes only 72 passengers!
Some of the people from these ships braved the elements and went on the Jet Boat, they were in for a very wet time.
